Project Description:
The Gopalpur Industrial Park project focuses on establishing a reliable water supply system to support the industrial operations in the park. This includes the design and implementation of an intake well for water sourcing, rising mains for water transport, and associated pumping stations. The system is designed to ensure a sustainable, efficient, and uninterrupted water supply for the park’s development.
Scope of Work:
- Structural Design Drawings:
- Intake Well Design: Developed detailed structural design drawings for the intake well, including the foundation, walls, and intake structure to ensure water is effectively sourced from the nearby water body.
- Rising Mains Design: Provided design drawings for the rising mains, including pipeline specifications, materials, and layout to transport water from the intake well to the industrial park.
- Pumping Station Structure: Designed the structural layout of the pumping stations, ensuring they are capable of housing the required machinery and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Water Supply System Design:
- Intake Well Design: Designed the intake well to meet the water demand of the industrial park, including the selection of appropriate filtration and screening methods to ensure clean water intake.
- Rising Mains Design: Designed the rising mains to carry water from the intake well to the park, ensuring adequate flow rates and pressure levels for future demand.
- Pipeline Sizing: Calculated the required pipe diameters and material selection for the rising mains to ensure optimal hydraulic performance and minimize energy consumption.
- Pumping Station Design:
- Pump Station Layout: Designed the layout of the pumping stations, which include space for pump installation, control panels, and electrical systems.
- Pump Capacity Design: Specified the required pump capacity to meet peak water demand while ensuring energy efficiency.
- Energy Efficiency Integration: Designed the pumping stations with energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs and minimize environmental impact.
- Electrical Design:
- Power Supply for Pumping Stations: Designed the electrical infrastructure needed to power the pumping stations, including transformer requirements and electrical panel layouts.
- Backup Power Systems: Included provisions for backup power to ensure the continuous operation of the water supply system, with generator installation for emergency power.
- Control and Monitoring Systems: Designed control systems for the pumps, including automation for water flow regulation and remote monitoring for system efficiency.
- Pumping Machinery Design:
- Pump Selection: Chose pumps with the appropriate head and flow rate to meet the industrial park’s water demand.
- Machinery Integration: Ensured smooth integration of the pumping machinery with the electrical and structural components of the water supply system.
- Long-Term Efficiency: Designed the system for long-term operation, incorporating features for ease of maintenance and minimizing downtime.
